Extract a PDF table to Excel without an upload queue
PDF files describe where text appears on a page; they do not always contain rows and columns. This tool works best when the source has selectable text arranged in a simple table with consistent spacing.
The browser reads text positions and reconstructs likely rows. It does not upload the PDF to a remote conversion queue. Merged cells, multi-line descriptions, rotated text, repeated headers, and irregular spacing can shift values into the wrong column.
Preview the first and last rows before downloading Excel or CSV. Compare totals, negative values, decimal separators, dates, and identifiers with the PDF. Never assume that a clean spreadsheet appearance proves the extraction is correct.
For supported bank statements, use the dedicated bank-statement workflow because debit, credit, and balance fields need bank-specific checks. Scanned pages require OCR first and may still need manual cleanup.
Keep the source PDF as evidence and treat the spreadsheet as an editable working copy. Reconcile important figures before accounting, loan, visa, tax, or legal use.
