How the result is made

pdf-lib reads AcroForm text, checkbox, and choice fields in the browser. Overlay text is drawn on page one at the click position. Flattening burns field values into page content. XFA/LiveCycle forms and encrypted PDFs are rejected with a visible reason instead of a silent upload.

Questions

Does PDF Form Filler need an Adobe login?

No. Filling and download stay in this tab. Adobe's online filler often asks you to sign in before you can save.

Is this a legally binding e-sign?

No. It fills fields or draws overlay text. Use Sign PDF with PFX when you hold a certificate file, or a verified signing service when identity proof is required.

Why did my Income-Tax or MCA form fail?
