Resize photos and signatures to custom pixels and KB

Read the current application form’s image instructions first. Choose a starting template, then open custom controls and enter the required photo and signature pixel dimensions and minimum/maximum KB values. Select the images, adjust the crop and generate JPEG copies. Changing a crop clears the old result so you will not download a stale preview.
The browser crops to the requested aspect ratio and pixel dimensions, then varies JPEG quality to seek the KB range. Actual output bytes are compared with your limits. A simple signature may remain below the minimum even at high quality; that condition is shown rather than hidden with artificial padding. The check covers dimensions and bytes, not whether an agency will accept the image.
Templates are size conveniences, not verified current SSC, UPSC, IBPS or passport rules. Some applications require live photograph capture or have instructions for background, pose, image age and identity checks. Enter the requirements from your current form. Increasing pixels does not recover detail from a blurry source, and heavy cropping can remove part of a signature.
Move the crop until the intended subject fits within the output rectangle. Check the whole signature, including long initial or final strokes. A crop adjustment clears the earlier result, so generate a fresh preview after making changes.
Check the downloaded JPEG’s actual dimensions and size in your device’s file or image properties. The form may also impose requirements this tool cannot test. Keep the source image so that another crop or size can be generated without enlarging a previously reduced file.

The numbers in this example are not current official exam requirements. Copy the instructions from the application you are completing, including live-photo rules if present. A low-complexity image may stay below the minimum KB even at high quality. The tool reports that condition rather than claiming it meets the range.
